FRESH FROM MY "renderfarm"!!! w/ minimal PS adjustments...
 been a long while since i posted anything that actually took time to create (yah.. unlike that screenshot)... and i'm currently (re)learning 3dsmax.. v7 kicks ass.. so here it is: a fiat 500. modelling, lighting, texturing all done in 3dsmax; rendering is done with mental ray, all 35 mins of it o.O just a little preview of what i'm currently workin on... my first car modelling. the exterior (shown) was done w/ a little help (now and then) from a tutorial @ [link] --w/ a few changes here and there .. i think i'm also gonna change the turn signals.. make a better lookin one or something.. the interior is all done by myself, but i'm still missing a few things (details here and there... little objects here and there...), so it should be ready by.. next week (?). the interior will be all brand new and modern and clean.. not like the old one's crappy lookin one i'm probably gonna borrow some stuff/ideas (steering wheel, speedometer, lcd, etc.) from the fiat trepiuno's interior, so it should be pretty cool lookin.. about the scene: i set up the scene to look 'studio'-ish... just a curved white bg (like those bgs in studios), no hdri, 1 skylight (lol.. sky) + mental ray's global illumination... anyways, any comment/criticism would be really nice... actually any criticism is encouraged. p.s. fiat trepiuno concept: [link] thanks |
